The Red River Valley Dulcimer Club is a group of musicians from the north Texas and southern Oklahoma area. We love getting together to enjoy the great traditional music of the 1800’s from the Appalachian Mountains. Our goal is to promote both the music and the traditional instruments created to play it. Unlike many clubs, our membership is free. Anyone playing an acoustic instrument is invited to join our club.

We will be playing traditional music with Appalachian mountain dulcimers and hammer dulcimers along with other instruments. We will also demonstrate the dancing toys that were so popular with the children in the old days.

Keepers of the Sound God.

The Keepers of the Sound of God is the live band that leads church services every week along with the worship team. Bishop Charles Niblet and his wife founded Greater Harvest North Church in March 1994 and have been pastors and teachers there ever since. It is a dynamic, spirit filled, multi-cultural church which tries to allow visitors to feel the presence of God so compelling that most have become members on their initial visit.

Jan’s Musical Memories began in 2005 in the Metroplex to provide vocal entertainment for a variety of senior living facilities. I now cover Grayson, Collin, Bonham, Denton, Dallas, Tarrant and Wichita Counties in Texas singing for seniors and private parties. My variety of music (Broadway, Pop Standards, Big Bands, Nostalgic Oldies, Early Rock ‘n Roll, Classic Country as well as special holiday themes) and enthusiastic love for performing deliver nostalgic fun for all generations.

The Children’s Chorus of Greater North Texas (CCGNT) helps foster the love of singing for youth in the North Texas area. Its mission is to give children the experience of musical artistry and excellence in a group that reflects the diversity of Greater North Texas. Founded in 2003, the Children’s Chorus of Greater North Texas is more than a group of children who sing exceptional music well. The Chorus provides a community where children learn and practice critical values such as integrity, responsibility, caring, respect for others, teamwork, and a love of beauty. The Chorus regards children as artists and musicians worthy of respect. The Chorus performs in several concerts within the community. Heidi Scheibmeir is the music director of the Chorus.

The Canyon Creek Players were formed in 2020 and slowly evolved into a small trio performing music from the 1950s to the 1980s, as well as obscure and original material that we deem as interesting and performance worthy. The band is William Breithaupt on African drum, Dennis Graham on electric guitar and vocals, and Gil Nelson on baritone ukulele and vocals. The Canyon Creek band will perform a variety of songs from the 1950s to the 1980s including tunes by Elvis, Rick Nelson, Fleetwood Mac,
Cyndi Lauper, Tracy Chapman.
