Little Goddess Trybe is a Fat Chance Bellydance performance Troupe based in Sherman Texas. We do a type of belly dance that is improvisational; that means that we do not choreograph our performances. We improv using language cues which consist of glances and head movements. See if you can spot them! If you’re interested, we have we have classes on Thursday night at Sherman parks and recreation. Catch one of us after the performance for a card for a free class and you can try it out.

Canyon Creek Players

The Canyon Creek Players were formed in 2020 and slowly evolved into a six piece performance combo playing music primarily from the 1950s to the 1980s, as well as obscure and original material. The band is William Breithaupt on African drum, Dennis Graham on rhythm guitar and vocals, Gil Nelson on baritone ukulele and vocals, Christina Michelle on vocals, Chris Phillips on Bass and Roy Pilgram on Lead Guitar.  The Canyon Creek Players perform a variety of songs primarily from the 1950s to the 1980s.  We also play original and more obscure material that we deem as interesting and performance worthy.

The Camp Military Discipline School and Boxing

The Camp is a non-profit organization owned and operated by Andre Luper, a Marine veteran, established in 2013. We do hold a 501©3.  We are a boxing gym and military discipline school with a mentorship program located in Sherman. At The Camp, we utilize boxing as a vehicle to prepare our youth for tomorrow’s challenges. We believe that our focus on life skills will reduce drug and alcohol use, school dropout rates and disciplinary actions. Children starting at the age of 3 can and do take advantage of this program. Hundreds of youths have enrolled since The Camp opened its doors. We strive to help our community.
