Earth Day Festival

Annual Plant Sale

Sponsored by:
Grayson County Master Gardeners
Red River Rose Society

Saturday, April 18, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

The two giants of gardening in Grayson County are teaming up for a giant plant sale in conjunction with Earth Day Festival 2009. It all comes about on Saturday, April 18, on the Municipal Building grounds in Sherman. The Master Gardeners will be holding their fourth annual sale of plants grown by their members. Needless to say, their prices are very affordable.

And right next door to them will be members of the Red River Rose Society offering rose bushes that are ideal for North Texas gardens. Most of the EarthKind rose varieties, many of them propagated by RRRS members, will be available–along with free personal "how to" advice from people who really know and love roses. EarthKind roses are among the finest, most thoroughly tested, and environmentally responsible plants you can use in a landscape. These roses do well in almost any kind of soil, even the compacted alkaline clays prevalent in our area. RRRS is asking only $7.00 for one of these container-grown EarthKind rose bushes.
