The 2009 Earth Day Festival is a community-wide, fun family event where ordinary people will learn practical things to reduce our impact on the earth and save money at the same time. In fact the theme is “Save Money, Save the Planet.” Earth Day will be celebrated at the Sherman Ballroom and Municipal Grounds from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

What to bring:

Please plan to bring your own water bottle or plan to purchase one of ours. No disposable drink containers will be sold on site.

Bring your used batteries for recycling. Batteries Plus will supply collection containers.

Bring documents to shred to the City Hall parking lot between 10 am and 2 pm.

Calculate Your Carbon Footprint:

Your utility companies can provide you with information about your average annual utility consumption. Bring this information to the Earth Day Festival, and we will help you calculate your household's impact on the environment.
