Robin Sowton has served as Conservation Chair and Executive Committee member for the Dallas Sierra Club over the past four years. She has helped organize several issues-based campaigns and she speaks regularly on home energy efficiency, North Texas water, and green living. She was Founder of the Dallas Green Zine from 2007-2010 and spent a year working with Memnosyne Foundation to launch Green Source DFW.  She is a former organizer for the Dallas Alternative Energy and Dallas Sustainable Living and Organic Gardening meetup.com groups and she is also a Texas Master Naturalist with the Blackland Prairie chapter. Robin currently resides in Murphy, TX where she is trying to restore nature to a suburban backyard.
