Identify a Local Environmental Problem and come up with one or more possible solutions.

Contest Rules:

• Essays should be approximately 250-500 words.
• They can be typed or handwritten, but if they are handwritten, they must be legible.  (Illegible entries will be disqualified).
• Entries can be faxed, mailed, emailed or hand-delivered to Success Center.
• The student’s name must not be on the essay itself.  A cover sheet that includes the student’s name, address, phone number, grade, school and the name of the teacher who assigned or encouraged the student to enter the contest must accompany all entries.
• Separate contest for both High School and Middle School levels

All entries must be received by April 1st, 2010

• High School - SAT or ACT prep course ($385-$450 value)
• Middle School - 10 free hours of tutoring on any subject ($450 value)

2nd Place From Texas Illegal Dumping Resource Center:

• High School - $200.00 Savings Bond
• Middle School - $100.00 Savings Bond

Third Place From Denison Family Karate Center:

• High School - uniform and 1 month of lessons
• Middle School - uniform and 1 month of lessons
